My love for photography began with a Christmas subscription to Time magazine. I’d begged for it. I’m sure my parents thought I was insane, but I was obsessed with photojournalism as soon as I knew it existed. That year I asked only for that and an easel—fueling my love for words and color. I would wait every month for my copy and lay on my bedroom floor hoping one day it would be me. I fell in love with image and I fell in love with story.

Now, my favorite stories to tell are yours. Alma & Kind is a love letter to the ordinary & extraordinary moments of your lives and mine. My experience in fine art—oil painting, drawing, & design—have helped train a unique approach to color and composition. My quiet nature allows me to be the perfect calming presence to help tell the story of your love.

When not behind the lens I’m having tacos with my partner of 7 years, throwing the ball for my black lab Vinnie, painting, hunting for the perfect estate sale, or reading Ada Limon.
